Sustainability

With Giant Posters and DOOH screens, we not only have a big impact on your target audience, but also on society.
This is why we think it is important to commit to making a positive impact, using our business as a force for good.

Printed on ECHO® – perfectly recyclable

Giant Poster material

Our Giant Posters are printed on ECHO® – 100% recyclable material. Completely free of PVC and made from 100% recycled PET bottles. We can convert the ECHO® material from your Giant Poster into various branded products such as bags and hammocks. The ultimate sustainable giveaway for a strong brand activation.

And a perfect fit with the recycling & upcycling trend, in line with the sustainability ambition of a brand or company.

Did you know that blowUP media in the Benelux has processed no less than 70 tons of PET bottles in Giant Posters since the start with ECHO® material (since September 2016)? And about 93 tons of PVC have been saved.

All Giant Posters are collected after campaigns, and the waste during the production process is also collected. Only water-based inks with the ÖKOTEX environmental label are used. We are of course quite proud of that!

Together we can have a

positive impact on the climate

We support nature restoration organisation Justdiggit pro Bono by showcasing their campaigns on all our digital screens in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK. With a huge reach of 337.2 million contacts per year, we ensure maximum awareness for Justdiggit’s mission.

In addition, we offset all emissions from the campaigns on our screens and Giant Posters with an investment in Justdiggit’s greening projects in Tanzania. We do this together with all our clients. As blowUP media, we thereby donate an annual financial contribution to local projects in Africa. Read more about that here.

It is indeed possible to green and cool the planet again, and we are happy to make a positive contribution.

The Green: DOOH screen in vertical garden

with CO2-reducing plants

The Green Knokke and The Green Meir offer advertisers the opportunity to activate their brand with striking content, in order to reach their target group on two of Belgium hotspots. Living green art maximizes visual impact, helps reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and thus contributes to a better climate. The vertical garden on the Lippenslaan in Knokke absorbs about 1,000 kilos of net CO2 per year and the vertical garden on The Meir around 320 kilos. Both screens have over 14 different species of plants that boost biodiversity in the city by attracting local birds and insects.
The Green Meir in Antwerp is the newest addition to Frontline, the digital OOH network of blowUP media Benelux which is already a success in Antwerp, Knokke, Ghent, Brussels and Leuven.
