George Street is one of the Scottish capital’s main shopping streets, which runs through the heart of the elegant New Town. The half-mile street promotes brands such as Anthropologie, The White Company, Lulu Lemon and many more. It also runs parallel to, and links Edinburgh’s other major retail strip – Princes Street – helping make the New Town a prime destination for retail therapy for most of Scotland and a great location for a Giant Poster. Alongside this, the sightseeing of grand architecture and notable statues can complement any shopping day out. Two of Edinburgh’s beautiful and open squares bookend the street, with the well-known Harvey Nichols coming off one of the squares.
