Job description

As a Junior Graphic Designer (full-time) you are an important part of the Benelux marketing team. In the role of Junior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the marketing team in Antwerp and Amsterdam on the uniform brand identity through various marketing tools. You advise clients on content to get the most out of a brand campaign. You are jointly responsible for the visual part of everything blowUP media communicates with brands/advertisers, media agencies/specialists, real estate relations and municipalities. You work independently and can keep an overview of all assignments and ongoing projects. You also work with our international Graphic Design Department & Group Marketing team in Germany and England. You are a creative designer who knows how to respect deadlines and knows how to convince, inspire and enthuse. You like to dive into the latest features and techniques in design.

A number of essential activities are:

  • Creative design development of our sales and marketing materials (rate cards, newsletters, presentations, website, etc.);
  • Check campaign content and provide feedback where necessary (brands/advertisers & media agencies);
  • Editing and maintaining photography;
  • Develop mock-ups for the sales and development team;
  • Contribute to the growth of HUB through visual creations. HUB is the creative department of blowUP media. HUB advises and realizes innovative brand campaigns such as 3D content on our state-of-the-art digital screens, specials on Giant Posters and other innovative media propositions;
  • Contribute to creative initiatives of blowUP media such as blowUP art, the art label of blowUP media with which we make exclusive art freely accessible to a wide audience.

Your profile:

  • Completed education as Graphic Designer, Media Designer or similar;
  • You are proficient in Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator are essential, After Effects and Premiere is a plus);
  • You have a ‘hands-on – do it yourself’ mentality;
  • You have 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience;
  • You get energy from developing and executing (new) concepts and ideas and want to make an impact;
  • You can perform well under pressure, adhere to deadlines and maintain an overview;
  • You are creative and think ‘out of the box’ to achieve innovative and effective results;
  • You are enterprising and positively minded, and can work both independently and in a team;
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English, French is a plus;
  • You have an eye for detail and insight for designs (e.g. perspective, light & dark effects);
  • A plus; you are content-savvy or have experience with video editing;
  • You are available for 40 hours per week and can start quickly.
